As you all know we started very late on the quest of shortlisting the Resorts for the Get-together. We started only one week back and unfortunately any resorts were already booked for the month of Feb and March 2026.
Also, many resorts are out of our range. Accordingly, I have fond one resort, about 9 kms away from Nelamangala on Bengaluru-Kunigal road (Hassan). The name of the resort is Ankit Vista Green Village situated around only 1.5 kms away from the above highway.
Topic – Reunion of Classmates near Nelamangala for Two Days – Feb 20, 21 and 22 (Fri, Sat, Sun).
(Please note that it is Feb and NOT in March as it was thought earlier)
It suits us in view of the fact that February is sufficiently cooler in Bengaluru for outdoor activities.
The dwelling rooms and the main conference hall is air-conditioned. However, Dining Hall and adventure activity areas are open places. In view of it, February suits the most.

The Resort is not 5 or 4 Star but around 3 Star. The dwelling rooms are quite good and quality of the food is also good.
After physically visiting the Resort today, I have been successful in negotiating surprisingly good rates.
Rs.3,276 per person per day inclusive of taxes.
The above price includes:
1. AC accommodation on twin sharing basis
2. Welcome drink
3. high tea with snacks
4. Buffet Dinner
5. Many varieties of unlimited veg and non-veg cocktail snacks
6. Buffet Breakfast
7. Buffet Lunch
8. All adventure activities in the resort are complimentary

The price does NOT include:
1. Rent of the huge Conference Hall
2. Specially erected Stage
3. Special Public Address system that we order
4. Bon-fire and Music system
5. Alcoholic and Other Beverages
6. Corkage charges
However the rates of the above are sufficiently reasonable.
Summary of Costing
For two days for two people on twin sharing basis (Couple or Friends), the cost is Rs.13,104 only. It will be payable directly to the Resort through a QR Code in advance.
The cost of the rest of the excluded items mentioned above such as Conference hall, Music system etc will be Rs.2,800 per person for two days.
So, total cost for two people for two days is 13,104 + 2,800 = 15,904.

Via Cash payable at the time of registration = 2,800

Kindly note that the approx surplus amount of Rs.50,000 from last year’s Get-together in Virajpet is being used for the Get-together this time. The above rates of non-excluded items have been mentioned after taking into consideration the surplus amount.

The above Resort is a wedding venue. In view of limited rooms, there is a hurry in registrations so that others do not book our rooms. I have promised the Resort that we will complete all our payments towards Rooms within the next 10 days.
Suppose we delay the bookings, the resort may hike the rates and also the 40 rooms that we require may not be available.

When to make Payment?
At the time of High-tea on 7 March (Fri) evening at the Registration counter.
The particular cost of the Miscellaneous Expenses cannot be envisaged right now because the Bill is generated after the Event on a daily basis depending on our consumption.
The actual Bills will be procured on Sunday morning 9 March and if any excess money will be refunded.
For the Event and Entertainment Program, we have taken appropriate Licenses after payment.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON LUNCH – PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY
Our Package starts from 2 pm on 7 March only. You need to check-in to the Room at 2 pm after completing your Lunch elsewhere or in the Resort itself on Individual Payment basis.
In case you wish to have Buffett Lunch at the Resort on Friday afternoon, you are welcome. The cost is Rs.1180 per person inclusive of GST).
You may also have Lunch at any one of the Eateries on the way.

In view of the fact that the Starters and Snacks are available with the Dinner itself in the Main Hall, and also because of the exorbitant cost of Cocktail Snacks, we have ordered for Only limited Vegetarian Snacks at the time of Fellowship. However, we have ensured expensive, good quality of Spirits for the participants.

Time taken to reach Mysuru from the Resort is approximately 2.5 hours (Distance 118 Kms)
