Only watch markets – nothing to do for short term

Blog meant for 14 Aug 2017 Monday

Dear friends,

Nifty collapsed further on Friday and closed at 9711, down 109 points. Global cues were still mainly negative in European markets and US markets closed marginally positive.

As of now, there is no action to be taken for short term trades. Nifty is in Don’t Buy zone.

As per technical analysis, the indications for individual stocks for short term are as follows –

THE HOLDS ARE – ACC, TCS, Titan, Yes Bank, Infosys

Wait to Sell – HDFC Bank, Asian Paint, HDFC

Sell – Reliance, Maruti,

Don’t Buy – ITC, SBI, M&M, L&T

Do not neglect long term investments whatever happens. As prices fall, many investors fear and do not invest for long term or they wait for the prices to fall more.

If you are investing on a monthly basis for long term, you must invest irrespective of the market level since you are looking at the appreciation which will happen over a period of 15-20 years or more.
