Blog meant for 28 Nov 2017 Tuesday
Dear Friends,
As mentioned in the blog yesterday, markets started weak and negative today. However, towards the last hour of the day, Nifty turned positive and finally closed 10 points higher at 10399.
Today, our markets managed to close positively inspite of the negative global cues. Even tonight, markets in Europe and US are trading negative. It is likely that our markets will open weak tomorrow morning.
The analysis for tomorrow for short term as per technical analysis is as follows:
Nifty is in Hold zone.
THE HOLDS ARE- AXIS BANK, MARUTI, SBI, TCS, TITAN, INFOSYS, M&M, RELIANCE, HDFC BANK
THE DON’T BUYS ARE- YES BANK, VEDANTA, HINDALCO, ASIAN PAINT, ITC
WAIT TO BUY – Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC
As a long term investor, if you are buying certain companies on a monthly basis after ensuring that their fundamentals are in place currently, we need not worry if the share price of the company falls a little in the short term due to short term fluctuations or some minor negative news in the markets. As long as the profits of the companies we have invested in is increasing every quarter or year and also the sector is doing well, we can continue to hold and add to it by buying more every month.
Only if and when the business performance of the company deteriorates and it is looking like the company is losing its market share in its industry, then we have to decide whether the company is facing some temporary problems or is it more permanent due to which the share price is falling.
So invest regularly for long term and let the power of compounding reward you for your patience.
