Stocks in Hold zone, but markets little weak

Blog meant for 11 Jan 2018 Thursday

Dear Friends,

Last two days have been very quiet for the markets as Nifty moved in a very narrow range. Finally, Nifty closed almost flat, down 5 points. Global cues are mainly negative in US and Europe and hence our markets may be little weak tomorrow.

Nifty is neither able to rise too much nor has it fallen much in the last 2-3 days. Markets will have to move either way in the coming days. The lack of movement in the market is also because of the upcoming Union Budget in February since investors do not know what announcements and decisions will be taken by the Finance Minister.

The analysis for Short term as per technical analysis is as follows:

Nifty is in Hold zone.
The indications for individual stocks are –

There are no fresh buy indications for short term as of now since most individual stocks are in Hold zone. Just be patient and do not unnecessarily Buy.

Long term investors can purchase bluechips on a regular basis.

Read this interesting article where it is discussed that there should be tax on capital gains from shares –

Session on One Time Investment in Stock Markets

(Special Session ONLY for graduates of Dr.Bharath Chandra’s Stock Market Workshop)

Session will be conducted in Kannada

We hope and presume that you have been investing on a monthly basis for long term in Stock Markets to save money for various events of your life such Children Education & Marriage, Retirement etc.

However, many of you may have some lumpsum amount as savings which you would like to invest for long term as one time Investment.

We are conducting a Special Session highlighting the efficiency of One Time Investment for long term and practically invest a Lumpsum amount in the Stock Markets in already researched and time tested bluechip companies.

For example, an investment of Rs.13.02 lakhs made around 18 years back in Jan 2000 as One time Investment in selected bluechip companies suggested by us, has grown to Rs.9.01 crores in Jan 2018. This works out around 26% p.a. average returns without attracting long term capital gains tax.

A lumpsum One time investment in Stocks of Rs.1,20,000 when a child is 3 years old will approximately make the Professional education like Engineering and the Marriage of the Child Free.

The topics of the Special Session will be as follows:

ü  Which is more profitable – One time Investment or SIP (monthly basis)

ü  How to Practically Plan & Invest Lumpsum Amount for Children Education & Marriage

ü  How to Invest for Your Retirement

ü  How long you need to wait to get fool-proof Positive Gains from Stocks

ü  How to Monitor your Portfolio periodically (once in 3-6 months) to ensure continued profitability.

In case you already have a demat account, you can invest the Lumpsum amount through the same account. If you do not have a demat account, required assistance will be provided.
