Markets stay quiet

Blog meant for 10 May 2018 Thursday

Dear friends,

Volatility continued for our markets but Nifty managed to close positively. It went up 24 points to close 10742. European and US markets are positive tonight but Asian markets were mixed.

This coming days until the Karnataka elections results will be quite volatile for markets since more than the result, the party which shows its strength will have effect on the overall country.

Nifty is in Hold zone for short term.

The indications for individual stocks for short term only are –

DON’T BUY – MARUTI, VEDANTA

HOLD – M&M, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, TCS, ITC, YES BANK, HDFC, ASIAN PAINT, HDFC BANK, HINDALCO,  TITAN, AXIS BANK, INFOSYS

SELL – SBI (Yesterday it showed a Buy indication but unfortunately it became weak today and hence came back to Sell zone)

Continue to invest for long term regularly.

All the best!
