Dear friends,
Finally, markets fell a little today, closing 10 points lower. Markets were nervous about RBI’s meeting regarding interest rates.
RBI towards afternoon announced that it will be hiking interest rates by 0.25%. This means that RBI will lend to banks at slightly higher rates. This could have a small impact on loan borrowers since banks may hike interest rates marginally. However, it is not a very big change in the current situation.
European markets have closed negative tonight and US markets are only slightly positive. We have to see how our markets open tomorrow especially since today was a positive day.
Nifty is in HOLD zone for short term.
The indications for individual stocks for short term only are –
DON’T BUY ZONE – HINDALCO
SELL – VEDANTA
HOLD ZONE –INFOSYS, ASIAN PAINT, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, ITC, AXIS BANK, SBI, TCS, M&M, TITAN
WAIT TO SELL – HDFC, HDFC BANK, YES BANK, MARUTI
For short term, no fresh buy indications as of now. Just observe markets and be alert.
For long term, continue regular investments every month irrespective of market fluctuations in short term.
